Little history known about burials in Sublett Cemetery. Eight grave sites were found and moved by The Corps of Engineers
in 1953 when Lake Lewisville, Denton County, Texas was enlarged. Information on this cemetery is from files of The Corps
of Engineers. The cemetery was moved to Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, Texas along with three other abandoned
cemeteries. The existing Little Elm Cemetery was at the present location with the exception of graves moved from lower
part of the cemetery to a higher location. Burials in the Sublett Cemetery are located at the North end of Little Elm
Cemetery.
