Skulls and skeleton of a number of bodies were found in the river bank just above the watering place. A Gescheidle boy found a skull of a man and parts of other skeletons. Atkinson went to Peach Creek to camp & hunt. Atkinson hid in brush and started calling turkeys. Burgess thought it a real turkey and shot Atkinson.
