Welcome
This County is in the north central region of Texas and the county seat is Haskell. As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,899. The county was created in 1858 from parts of Fannin and Milam counties and organized in 1885. It's named for Charles Ready Haskell, who was killed in the Goliad massacre.These awards were won by previous coordinator, Jane Colmenares.
