COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~
John Dering, 86, of Loraine, retired farmer, died at 7 a.m. Friday at Roland
Nursing Home in Loraine after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel
Born January 1, 1889, in Garland, Mr. Dering married Sadie Mae Jackson on
January 28, 1926, in Dallas. They lived in Westbrook for several years. Mrs.
Dering died in January of 1973.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Mildred Frances) Kelly, Mrs
Leonard (Ruby Mae) Watkins and Mrs. Charles (Lillie Irene) Love, all of
Colorado City; two sons, Bill and Joe, both of Colorado City; and several
grandchildren.
