Jimmie Lou Dickson 1918-2008

SAN ANGELO -- Jimmie Lou Dickson, 90, passed from this life on December 3, 2008. Jimmie was born June 26, 1918 in Navarro Co. Texas to Clarence N and Estalle Meador. She married Selma Q. Dickson on August 28, 1937. He preceded her in death on October 28,1976. In 1948 they moved to Colorado City, Texas where she lived until she moved to San Angelo in 1989. She lived in
San Angelo until her death. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother John L. Meador and sister-in-
law Retha Lee, a niece Bernita Meador Sage, a brother-in-law J.L. Watts and nephew Mike Watts.
She is survived by a son Stewart D. Dickson Sr. and wife Faye (Conaway) of San Angelo, a grandson Deen and wife Denise and great-grandchildren Ashley and Chris of San Angelo, and a granddaughter Sarah Drennan and husband
Shorty and three great-grandsons, Jacob, Kendon and Michael of Bula, Texas.
She is also survived by one sister Faye Watts of Frost, Texas and four nieces, Retha Lyman and husband Bob, Allie Dowdle and husband Bryan all of Frost, Sandra Orr of Aubrey, Texas and Marla Niles and husband Tim of Corsicana, Texas and several great nephews and nieces.
Graveside services were Dec. 6, 2008 at 200 p.m. in Colorado City, Texas Cemetery under the direction of Johnsons Funeral Home in San Angelo, Texas.
Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandchildren
