COLORADO CITY ~~(RNS) Mrs. Roscoe (Marie) Dobbs, 74, of Anchorage, Alaska
and formerly of Colorado City, died at 9 a.m. Sunday in Anchorage where she
had lived one year.
Funeral is pending at Kiker-Rains-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dobbs was born October 22, 1898 in Bell County. She moved to Colorado
City with her parents in 1905.
She married Roscoe Dobbs June 10, 1923 in Sterling City. He died in June
1939.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was living with her daughter
in Alaska.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Lela Marie Schooler; two sisters, Mrs. Mary
Jay of Seattle, Washington and Mrs. Frances Webb of Colorado City; and four
grandchildren.
