COLORADO CITY – Lillian Dossey passed away February 8, 2011 at Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City.

She was born in Mitchell County Fairview Community on February 11, 1930, to L.D. and Bonnie Robertson. She married Roland Dossey on December 13, 1947, in Colorado City.
Maw, as she was called by her children and grandchildren, was preceded in death by her husband on October 22, 1984. She is also preceded in death by her parents; six sisters, May Morris, Edna Pace, Ovella McAdams, Connie Singleton, Vivian Bradley and Fay Adams; four brothers, Claud, J.D., L.D. and Buddy Robertson; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Grimes Dossey.

She is survived by one daughter, Jeanie Dossey Garrett of Colorado City; three sons, Danny Dossey of Odessa, Jerry and Sue Dossey of Lubbock and Ronnie and Bobbie Dossey of Blanco; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the American Cancer Society or Oak Street Baptist Church.
