Catherine Allbritton 

1938-2000 

MONROE, La. -- Catherine Chisholm Allbritton of Monroe, former Snyder resident, died Saturday, July 29, at her residence. 

Services were held at the chapel of Community Memorial with the Rev. Bo Ensminger officiating. 

Interment followed in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. 

Mrs. Allbritton, a native of Franklin Parish, moved to Snyder in 1953 and worked in the Snyder school cafeteria from 1973 to 1985. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Allbritton who worked for Chevron Oil while in Snyder; her parents, Howard and Belle Chisholm; and two brothers, Howard Nolan Chisholm Jr. and Gerald Chisholm. 

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah K. White; a son, William Henry Allbritton Jr.; five sisters, Vera Hicks, Bobbie Jean Wheelus, Becky Johnson, Patsy Martinez and Lynette McLemore; two brothers, William Dale Chisholm and Johnny Wayne Chisholm; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
