SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Leda Beck 1928-2000 Leda Jean Beck of Snyder died Sunday, Sept. 24, in Midland�s Manor Park following a lengthy illness. Funeral service for Mrs. Beck, 72, is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Tommy Culwell, pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Born May 27, 1928 in Vernon, she married Richard Beck on March 7, 1947 in Vernon. Mr. Beck died March 20, 1993. A homemaker, Mrs. Beck was a member of the Colonial Hill Baptist Church and was active in the Scurry County Senior Center. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Hix and Catherine Flynn. Survivors include a son, Johnny Beck of Midland; a daughter, Pamela Jean Ronemus of Midland; two sisters, Dorothy Roland of Canyon and Betty Kiselwick of Electra; two brothers, Jack Skipworth of Clyde and Kenneth Skipworth of Abilene; four grandchildren; Kristen LeMay of Buffalo Gap, Johna Swopes, Jeana Clary and Clint Beck, all of Midland; and three great-grandsons, Jaiden, Josh and C.W.; and a special friend, Manley Burrow of Snyder.
