SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Beatrice Bilberry 1908-2000 Funeral service for Beatrice Bilberry of Snyder is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Flomot. The Rev. Nathan Mulder, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Flomot Cemetery under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada. She was the mother of Jean Richardson of Snyder. Mrs. Bilberry, 92, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bilberry was born on April 15, 1908 in Shackleford County to William Harvey and Mary Ada Kelsey Giles. She married L.D. Bilberry on March 16, 1927 in Dickens County. He died May 5, 1985. She also preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Dickinson and Nickie Loudermilk; five brothers; and six sisters. Mrs. Bilberry moved to Lockney from Flomot in 1990 and to Snyder in 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include another daughter, Joyce Speer of Floydada; eight grandchildren, Coel Winn, Linda Rains, Kay Nicole, Patsy Cannedy, Bill Turbyfill, Sue Stroud, Maria Kirkland and Mary Ann Galyean; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home from 6:30 to 7:30 this evening.
