Mrs. Bowlin, 74, died at 2:15 this morning at her home in Snyder after a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 19, 1925 in Marsh Baldon Oxfordshire, England, she married Bill Bowlin on Feb. 3, 1945 in Marsh Baldon England, near Oxford. A longtime Snyder resident, she was associated with her husband in the operation of Texaco s-ervice stations in Snyder as well as a car wash that they owned and operated from 1982 to 1988. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Bowlin in 1967. Survivors include her husband, Bill Bowlin of Snyder; a son, Barrie Bowlin of Snyder; two daughters, Patsy Mikelonis of Mimbres, N.M., and Kay Rowe of Durango, Colo.; three sisters, Margaret Atkinson, Dora Hudwell and Vi Gardner, all of England; one brother, Dennis Barrett of England; nine grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
