Billy Britton 

1938-2000 

SAN SABA � Billy Ray Britton of San Saba died Thursday, July 13, at his home in San Saba. 

Funeral service for Mr. Britton, 62, was set for 11 a.m. today in the
 Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Melvin Williams was to officiate. 

Born April 22, 1938 in Hillsboro, he was an auto mechanic in Pecos before
 moving to San Saba. He married Jackie Wallace on July 24, 1966 in Mexico. 

Mr. Britton was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Avie Leona Britton;
 a son, Billy Ray Britton Jr.; and a daughter, Shannon Marie Britton. 

Survivors include two daughters, Shelly Beasley of San Saba and Michelle Britton; 
a son, Robert Travis Britton; the children�s mother, Jackie S. Goldsberry of Snyder; 
a brother, Jack Britton of California; and two grandchildren.
