SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/2004february16/obit.htm Opal Eades 1910-2004 Opal Juanita Eades, longtime Snyder resident, died Saturday, Feb. 14, in Trinity Haven Nursing Center in Midland. Graveside service for Mrs. Eades, 93, was held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Snyder Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Day, pastor of Ave. D Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Born Feb. 19, 1910 in Cook County, she married John Eades on Feb. 14, 1937 in Abilene. He died in 1963. A homemaker, Mrs. Eades moved from McCamey to Snyder in 1963 and was a member of the Ave. D Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Sheila Vineyard of Midland, Lela Warren of Indonesia, Cleo Keller of Snyder, Emogene Gotcher of Sweetwater and Juanita Richardson of San Angelo; three sons, Arnold Eades of Auburn, Ala., Calvin Eades of Houston and James Eades of San Angelo; a daughter-in-law, Glenda Meredith of Fort Worth; 23 grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
