Service for Miss Forest, 55, was held Thursday in Carl Barnes Funeral Home Chapel in Houston. The Rev. Godwin Haynes officiated. Interment was in Cemetery The Beautiful. Born on Dec. 21, 1944 in Roscoe to the late Earnest and Birdie Mae Forest, she moved to Houston with her mother in 1956. A graduate of Jack Yates High School, she worked at St. Anthony�s Hospital for 14 years and at Villa de Matel for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Greater Morning Star Baptist Church and the Texas Traveling Bowling Association. Survivors include three other aunts, Ola B. Riggins of Houston, Alice Lewis and Leola Archie of Wichita Falls; a stepsister, Louia Jean Wagner of Houston; three adopted sisters, Gloria Green, Joyce Horn and Nora Louise, all of Houston; three adopted brothers, Curtis Lee Green, Leodis Green and William Green, all of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Curtis Lee Green, Sammie Lee Harrison, Howard Gordon, Jurell Riggins, Leodis Green and Morris Lewis.
