Martha Freytag 

1913-2000 

ABILENE � Martha Pilsner Freytag, a former Scurry County resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, in the Windcrest Alzheimer�s Care Center in Abilene. 

Rosary for Mrs. Freytag, 87, is set for 7 this evening in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Moulton. 

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Moulton. 

Born in Lavaca County, was reared there and married Anton Freytag in 1937. He preceded her in death. 

They farmed in the Hermleigh area until his retirement in 1976 when the family moved to Sweetwater. 

Survivors include two sons, Tommy Freytag of Gilbert, Ariz. and Jimmy Freytag of Coppell; two daughters, Barbara Harvel of Little Rock, Ark. and Dorothy McKenzie of Abilene; a brother, Ed Pilsner of Moulton; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
