The following obit is published in Allie Abernathy's Scrapbooks, 1893-1923. 
 She was related to Lillie Bell Abernathy Stewart, wife of John Abner Stewart who also
 lived in Hermleigh, TX.  Allie saved several thousand articles from 
The Sun, the newspaper for LaFayette, Chambers Co., Alabama.

Death of Mrs. T. J. Stewart 
     News was received here last week announcing the death of 
Mrs. T. J. Stewart, which sad event occurred at her home in Hermleigh, Texas,
 Monday, December 12th.  Mrs. Stewart was raised in this county, and was well known
 in LaFayette.  She spent several weeks here last summer with her son, Mr. J. L. Stewart,
 who has the sympathy of the entire community in this sad bereavement.
