SNYDER DAILY NEWS http://www.snyderdailynews.com/Stories/index.htm Jane Ann McCarty 1964-2000 Funeral service for Jane Ann McCarty, 36, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Mosley, retired Baptist minister, and the Rev. Kenneth Martin, pastor of the Ira First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Miss McCarty died Monday, July 31, in Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. Born June 22, 1964 in Colorado City, she attended Snyder schools, WTC and is a graduate of St. Joseph�s School of Vocational Nursing. She had worked closely with hospice and had been a nurse at the Heart of West Texas Home Care in Colorado City for seven years. An LVN, Miss McCarty also had worked at Cogdell Memorial Hospital and Big Spring State Hospital. Survivors include her parents, Leland and Jane McCarty of Snyder; a brother and sister-in-law, Ricky Don and Sharon McCarty of Slaton; another brother, Steven L. McCarty of Texas City; a niece, Cristi McCarty of Slaton; and a nephew, Wesley McCarty, also of Slaton. Lunch for the family will be at 1 p.m. at the Ira Baptist Church.
