Burial was to follow in the Garden of Memories and the Rev. Malcolm Brown was to officiate. Mrs. McConnell, 91, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Roscoe Healthcare Center. Born on Sept. 23, 1908 in Hood County, Mrs. Hood was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Jane McConnell Dressler, Pauline McConnell and Kathlyn McConnell; and one brother, John McConnell. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Nelson Dressler of Snyder; two nephews, Tom Dressler of Amarillo and Mack Dressler and wife, Kathy, of Mesquite; one niece, Barbara Bowen and husband, Gary, of Snyder, one great-nephew, Craig Bowen; and two great-nieces, Sarah Dressler and Kate Dressler. Pallbearers were to be Tom Dressler, Mack Dressler, Barbara Bowen, Ga ry Bowen, Craig Bowen and Ronnie Reedy.
