Tomlin Cemetery

The following inventory appeared in the August 1981 issue of Footprints, the quarterly publication of the Fort Worth Genealogical Society. It is reprinted here with permission.

The Tomlin Cemetery is located on Trinity Blvd, previously called Tomlin Road, off N. Davis Street in Arlington, Texas. Ancestors of this family were among the early settlers of Parker County, Texas. Mr. Tomlin's grandmother, Emma Light, was a small girl when Comanche Indians raided her home. They killed her parents and a young baby. Lee Light, a younger brother crawled into a bush thicket for safety. Emma Light survived with an arrow in her arm. Copied in 1975 by Mrs. R. L. (Louise) Moxley.
